Information
Located in the heart of the National Park of “Monts d’Ardèche”, the village of Burzet (530m) is surrounded by natural sources, waterfalls and young volcanos.
It is also known as a natural station labellised “Station verte” for its quality of living.
Burzet is situated along the valley of La Bourges unique for its flora and a varied fauna, counting endemic natural species of the Cevennes.
Events:
Still celebrated today, the Christian procession of Burzet (costumed procession) takes place every Holy Friday along the Calvary to represent the Passion of Christ.
Burzet hosts each year, in October, a festival of comic books organized by the association RiboulesDingues. It welcomes nationally known cartoonists.
